Currently we are only regulated by the Malaysian Central Bank (Bank Negara Malaysia) therefore, we are only able to transfer money out from Malaysia.

For first time users, you’ll need to set up an account using your email address either on our MoneyMatch Transfer website or on our iOS and Android app.

You will also have the option to register using your Facebook or Google+ account.

In order to create an account with MoneyMatch, you are required to perform a one-time Know Your Customer (KYC) verification using our MoneyMatch mobile application, which can be downloaded from Google Play Store for Android phones or from App Store for Apple phones.

Yes. We also offer MoneyMatch transfer services to businesses.

We currently charge an RM8 fee for transactions below RM5,000 if you're sending money in the native currency (for example SGD to Singapore, AUD to Australia) and RM88 if you're sending money to a Foreign Currency Account (for example USD to Singapore, USD to the UK) for transactions below RM50,000.

MoneyMatch ensures that the rates provided are significantly lower than what banks or other money transfer services can offer.
We will ensure that you are aware of the exchange rate that you’ll be getting before committing.

By being a fully digital platform, from the account registration, to the KYC process and the actual transfer of funds, MoneyMatch is able to keep all operational cost low and pass this cost savings back to customers.

You can create a transfer order with 5 simple steps once your account is verified.

  1. Specify the amount and currency that you are sending and the recipient gets
  2. Select the transfer option that best first your needs
  3. Key in your recipient details by specifying the recipient details such as bank details and recipient’s personal or business details
  4. Key in your bank account details. This is to speed up the payment and refund process should there be refunds
  5. Review the order details and pay for the transfer. The money will be on its way once we’ve received your payment.

As a regulated entity, MoneyMatch is strictly regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia under the Financial Technology Regulatory Sandbox to provide an online platform in the supply of money remittances via MoneyMatch Transfer.
Our security measures include bank level anti-phishing login features as well as a highly secure verification procedure. All our security measures and procedures are in place to help protect your account from any unauthorised access.

The receiver is required to have a bank account in the receiving country in order for the transfer to be successful. In the future, we will have various modes of sending money to your recipient depending on the country and currency you are sending to. Kindly follow our Facebook page for the latest updates.

At this point, MoneyMatch can only accept payment via bank transfers or cheques.

You may be required to do so on occasion to confirm that the money we receive is from you. The information you provide can be in a form of a photo, scanned file, screenshot from your online transfer, or even a PDF file. Your file needs to contain the following information:

  • Your details – We need to see your name and account number
  • Our details –MoneyMatch Sdn Bhd and / or our account number
  • Date – When the transfer was initiated
  • Amount – The amount that you sent us

As a Financial Technology company regulated by Malaysia Central Bank (Bank Negara Malaysia), we are required to perform Know Your Customer (KYC) verification for all our customers regardless whether individual or business.

The speed of the transfers depends on the type of transfer you choose; whether community transfer or direct transfer. For Direct Transfer, it takes 1-4 working days to reach the recipient. The time it takes depends on the currencies involved, bank holidays and weekends in both the sending and receiving countries. Please keep in mind that we can only send or receive your money during regular banking hours.

For Community Transfer: the process should be completed within 2-3 working days after the order is matched. If the money is still not in the recipient’s account after 3 working days, please get in contact with our Customer Care Team (operations@moneymatch.co) for more information.

The minimum amount per transaction is RM500

The limit is set at RM30,000.00 per day for individuals and RM200,000.00 per day for SMEs. The limit is set at RM1 million a year for individuals and RM 45 million a year for SMEs.

You will receive email and notification from MoneyMatch if a transaction is unsuccessful. As soon as the funds are back in our account, we’ll get in touch with you to check if you want them to be resent or refunded. Please note that it can take up to two weeks for the receiving bank to return the money to us. The receiving bank may also charge a processing fee, so the amount we receive back can be slightly lower than the amount originally sent.

You will have to cancel your order on your dashboard and create a new order.
